ABOUT
Sabrina Caramanico is an Italian freelance photographer, born in a small town in the mountains of Abruzzo.
Self-taught, she primarily works with analog photography for her personal projects, developing and printing her images in the darkroom.
Her work explores themes of identity, memory, and rituality, examining the connection between what is visible and what is perceived. Through a personal and visionary documentary approach, she uses photography to give form to traces, symbols, and atmospheres suspended in time.
Her works have been published by international magazines such as Burn Magazine, JRNL, Black & White, SheShootsFilm, Halogenure, Analog Magazine ad her projects have been awarded by Burn Magazine, Gomma Black and White Awards, Urbanautica Institute, Black & White Awards, IPA, Photography Grant, MasterCup and more.
